What is The Compassion Method™?

The Compassion Method™ is a practice created by Laura Duncan — not a program for broken people, but a practice for humans who are ready to come home to themselves. It teaches people to feel their pain, receive comfort, and go play. Most people spend their whole lives trying to fix their pain — therapy, prayer, productivity, pushing through. Pain was never meant to be fixed. It was meant to be felt.

Who is The Compassion Method™ for?

The Compassion Method™ is for anyone carrying pain that hasn't lifted — cycles of anxiety, depression, and other forms of suffering that other modalities haven't relieved. This is a practice for humans who are ready to feel their pain and get comfort so that you can enjoy life again.

Is The Compassion Method™ the same as therapy?

No. Therapy helps you understand your pain. The Compassion Method teaches you to feel your pain and bring comfort to it so you can heal. It's what we call "being with" it. You don't have to fix yourself — because you were never broken.

Coming Home is our monthly subscription membership and a movement of people learning to heal their pain — not fix it. Members get one hour Ask Laura, Compassion Lab LIVE (a weekly group coaching call), Weekly Dose of Compassion LIVE (an activity for learning to receive compassion), and a private members-only group for daily practice with others on the same journey. Coming Home is $97 per month.

What is Compassion School?

Compassion School is the immersive experience for learning The Compassion Method. Throughout the school year, students interact live with Laura through teaching, Q&A, and activities that grow your capacity to receive and give compassion — to yourself and others. By accessing and using our programs, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our in-person and online products, memberships, workshops, events, and courses.

By participating in our products, memberships, and courses, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Use and will comply with them during your participation in any Laura Duncan Consulting LLC or The Compassion Method™ products, memberships, and courses.

1. Intellectual Property

1.1 Ownership

All content, materials, and resources provided through our products and services — including but not limited to videos, documents, text, graphics, logos, and trademarks — are the intellectual property of Laura Duncan, Laura Duncan Consulting LLC, The Compassion Method™, or its licensors, and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

1.2 Permitted Use

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the materials provided in the coaching program solely for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not modify, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer, or sell any information or content obtained from our coaching program without our prior written consent.

2. User Conduct

2.1 Compliance

You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations while using our products, memberships, services, events, and courses. You shall not engage in any illegal, unauthorized, or prohibited activities that could harm the program, other users, or the reputation of Laura Duncan, Laura Duncan Consulting LLC, or The Compassion Method™.

2.2 Prohibited Actions

You are prohibited from engaging in any of the following actions:

Violating any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights.
Attempting to gain unauthorized access to lauraduncan.com, Laura Duncan Consulting LLC, The Compassion Method™, its servers, or any related systems or networks.
Interfering with the proper functioning of the Laura Duncan, Laura Duncan Consulting LLC, or The Compassion Method™ program or its security features.
Using any automated means to access, monitor, or interact with the Laura Duncan, Laura Duncan Consulting LLC, or The Compassion Method™ program.
Engaging in any conduct that could disrupt or harm the platform's integrity or performance.
Uploading, transmitting, or sharing any content that is harmful, offensive, discriminatory, or infringing on others' rights.

3. Recording & Replay Consent

By purchasing any membership, subscription, workshop, product, or course from Laura Duncan Consulting LLC or The Compassion Method™ — including but not limited to Coming Home, Compassion School, The 6-Week Walkthrough, Learn to Be With, and any live group calls, classes, or coaching sessions associated with these programs — you acknowledge, agree, and consent to the following:

All live sessions, group calls, classes, coaching sessions, workshops, and similar live interactions hosted by Laura Duncan Consulting LLC are recorded for quality, training, and replay purposes.
Replays are made available for replay to members of the Laura Duncan Consulting LLC and The Compassion Method™ community, including but not limited to current and future members of any associated program. Replays may be distributed inside membership portals, in email follow-ups, or through other community distribution channels associated with the program in which you enrolled.
You expressly consent to your voice, image, name, and any content you share during live sessions being captured in these recordings and redistributed as replays to the community as described above.

If you do not wish to appear in a recording, you may choose to participate with your camera off and your microphone muted, and you may refrain from speaking during live sessions. You are responsible for taking this step if you wish to limit your participation in any recording. Choosing not to appear in a recording does not affect your access to the program or to replays made available to the community.

4. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to lauraduncan.com and any Laura Duncan Consulting LLC or The Compassion Method™ products, memberships, and courses, in whole or in part, at our discretion and without prior notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms of Use or any applicable laws.

5. Disclaimers

5.1 No Guarantees

While we strive to provide valuable content, we make no guarantees regarding the results you may achieve through our in-person and online products, memberships, workshops, events, and courses. Your success is dependent on your efforts, dedication, and individual circumstances.
